Venu 4 missing shortcut and functionality

Hi! I've upgraded from a Venu 3 to a Venu 4 but the swipe to right shortcut is now missing. With the watch having 1 less buttons already to rely on touch screen, it's a big gap in day-to-day functionality and I was wondering if this is something that'd be implemented.

The shortcuts also don't take you apps anymore, like Hear Rate, Body Battery or Stress. I'm living with CFS/ME and having quick access to those widgets was one of the main use cases for my Venu 3 so I'm gutted to see these missing on the Venu 4.

I am in the same situation. It shouldn't be difficult for Garmin to implement such a useful but simple feature

I was very surprised there isn't even a swipe to the right from the main screen shortcut anymore. I upgraded from the Venu 3 and figured losing the extra button wouldn't be an issue because I could just use the swipe right shortcut.

The Venu 4 offers many touchscreen options, you can review these in the manual here:

Touchscreen Tips

You can also customize the hold function of individual buttons and combinations of buttons:

From the watch face, swipe left.
Select Settings > System > Shortcuts.
Select a button or combination of buttons to customize.
Select a function.

This does not answer the question. As of now, the swipe right does not work on the Venu 4 and there's no option even in the beta versions to configure it.

The Venu 4 does not have the swipe to the right feature as the venu 3 did. The venu 4 does offer more customizable shortcuts which you can review here: youtu.be/cfKsytRWv6Q

Unfortunately this feels a massive downgrade in functionality from the Venu 3.
- Loss of physical button
- Loss of swipe to right shortcut
- Loss of adding key apps (HR, BB, Stress) to existing shortcuts

Anyone who uses the watch day-to-day will feel the massive implications of this, and certainly feels like a step back from previous models. Is there a way to include these in an upcoming update?
