Affected Models: Venu 4, Venu X1 (and similar touchscreen models)
The Problem: The "raise to wake" feature (automatic display activation upon wrist rotation) is often disruptive and unreliable. Many users (including my wife and myself) are forced to disable it because an estimated 95% of screen wake-ups are accidental and wasteful, negatively impacting battery life.
Proposed Solution: Introduce an optional new setting for display activation: a quick double-flick of the wrist (a rapid double-gesture).
The Benefit: This feature would provide a reliable, intentional, and controlled alternative. The display would only wake up when the intentional double-gesture is performed, eliminating accidental wake-ups while still allowing users to activate the screen without needing to touch the display or press a button.
