ECG app setup not showing up or Garmin connect

I just got a new Venu 4. ECG setup is not showing app in Garmin Connect and therefore the app not available on the watch. I tried all that is described on other threads. Restart app, restart watch. I am in a compatible region, have a 2 step authentication, location services are on. Not sure what else to do. Maybe returning the watch and trying to get a new one?

  • Then, I had to reboot the watch to get past the Acquiring... message while trying to take a reading.  So: update the watch, reinstall phone app, reboot watch.

  • Hi. I don't know that I "enabled" the beta, though I see it. How do I opt out and get the ecg feature on my new Venu 4s? It's part of the reason I wanted this model as an upgrade from my Lily.

  • I'm having the same problem - just bought Venu 4 but cannot set up ECG.  I have the latest software, wifi set up, location permissions enabled and also in NZ - can anyone offer suggestions on how to fix this problem?  ECG is not showing up in the watch set=up memu - very frustrating 

  • I believe mine finally came up after multiple software updates.  I kept hitting update even though it already was.  So frustrating that I returned it as I wasn’t crazy about the 41mm.  Tried the 3 as I had a 2plus that I loved and didn’t care for the v3 either.  Loyal Garmin lover in me decided to give the V4 another shot.  I ended up with the 45mm V4 after returning the 41mm and the V3….lo and behold zero issues at all.  I still don’t understand but maybe just keep trying to update your software and it’ll eventually pop up like mine did.  Sorry I can’t be of more help.
