Battery Replacement

I can't seem to find a replacement battery for my Garmin Venu 3 on the Garmin site

Do I need to contact Garmin for a replacement? Before I do, does anyone here got their battery replaced and how much did it cost?

  • I have read that Garmin has no customer support or spare parts availability in Australia on the reviews website... Now I'm starting to worry that I just wasted $600....

Considering that no one has reply, my question now is: Are the batteries replaceable on Garmin watches or once the battery is dead you need to purchase another watch???

I sincerely hope that someone from Garmin will reply here to my concern...

  • The Venu 3, along with most other wearables devices feature a rechargeable, lithium-ion battery that is not user replaceable. If you are having some power or device concerns, use the following link for our Support Center, and if you would like to connect with support in Australia they can be reached following the prompts at the bottom of this page:

  • Hi Al

    Thank you for your reply...

The watch is just about 2 years old and the battery life is getting shorter and shorter, so I do need a replacement, and I'm more than competent in replacing it myself. So the question still is:

Do you sell the battery or do I need to buy it online from China? There are plenty of battery online for sale but none of them are the 297mAh that the Venu3 does use part N: 361-00165-00

Do you know if the battery that fit the Fenix 3 part N: 361-00034-62 300mAh would fit???

According to the Product Review website, your customer support in Australia is virtually nonexistent...

That's why I would prefer changing the battery myself, if I can help it...

    Cheers..

  • I guess this is as good as it gets...

After nearly 20 years of purchasing and using Garmin products, the Venu 3 made me realised, how little value there is in these products...

When the battery no longer hold the charge, as most batteries eventually do, you got nothing left... These are not good long lasting products, but merely toys for a throwaway society.. I guess Garmin doesn't really care for the environment, and the funny part is that most of their products are designed for people that spend a great deal on time in contact with nature... KARMA is a ***....

Thanks to the EU in 2028 this stupid behaviour will be no longer allowed to happen... That day can't come quick enough...

In the meantime, no more Garmin toys for me, and apparently even on Trustpilot Garmin is not doing so well...
