It's great that voice assistant is finally working on my pixel 8 using version 17.01.
The "could not connect" problems seem to largely be gone. However whenever the interaction is complete it stays on the music control screen. Then I have back out of the music controls. I don't use music on the venu 3, I can't figure out how to make it go back to the main screen after the assist function is complete. I would even delete the the music functionality of I could. None of the Google led to anything successful.
Any ideas?
Also, a note to the developers, it appears you wait for the connection before waiting for voice input. Why not start recording the voice at the beginning of the voice assistant command while starting the connection to the phone. This will make the experience much more responsive
