16.05 Black screen, but vibrates

A bit after downloading and installing the update, the screen went black. when pressing the buttons for several seconds the watch still vibrates but nothing happens.

The button pressing for reboot and resets are not doing anything, except vibrating after about 5 seconds.

Is there a solution for this?

Please help!

I too face the same issue right after the update. The screen went black. The sensors were working and we're able to see status in the Garmin Connect App. On trying to reboot, it vibrates and activate LiveTrack…

Pls help and this leaves the watch useless.

I didn't really fix mine, but what prevents this from happening is you need to power off, restart, and then go into display settings and then make sure to keep the display on. Temporarily fixes the issue until Garmin can release an update that really fixes the issue.
