Google Maps does not work on the Venu 3 device, even though Garmin has announced that this watch is on the list of supported devices.

I've seen announcements that Google Maps finally works on Garmin devices, including Venu 3.

I was trying to follow Garmin's instructions, but I couldn't see the Google Maps application in the ConnectIQ Store.

I managed to trigger the installation process using Web UI, so the Google Maps app eventually became visible on my Venu 3, but when I tried to use it, it said that Google Maps couldn't be mirrored.

I am trying to use this setup on iOS.

Any thoughts or hints on this?

Can someone tell me how to force configuration on Samsung S24U? I run the app on my watch and the maps on my phone start, but nothing happens.

it gives me a 404 message. That's an error. The requested URL /mirroring/configure was not found on this server.

IIRC, it only works when the phone app is actually navigating to a destination. So with the app on the watch and on the phone open, start the phone app navigating to some destination. The turn instructions will appear on the watch. I tried it and didn't find it of much use so uninstalled the app.
