Three issues with the Golf App - Venu 3


My previous device for 5 years was the Vivoactive 4. I switched to the Venu 3. Before reporting the issues, I already did the following before the device issues recurred:

I reset and erased the data on the device.
I deleted all golf courses.
I reinstalled the Garmin Golf app.

Problems:

1. When I try to start a round on a specific course, it returns me to the option to select the activity. This leaves me stuck in a loop between starting my round of golf and selecting an activity.

2. During the game, it doesn't automatically recognize shots and distances.

3. It doesn't allow me to view the hazards of the hole. The option is simply disabled.

All three of these issues never occurred to me on my previous watch in 5 years.

    Please see our recently released beta software (15.02) for a fix addressing all 3 items in this report. If you prefer to not install this beta software, we hope to be rolling out a public software update soon, though I do not have a timeline for this release. If you are still seeing this issue after installing the beta software, please contribute your observations in the appropriate beta bug reports section of the beta forums for your specific device.

    Important note about ECG App: Moving forward, the Beta software available for the Venu 3/3S will have the ECG feature disabled. If you would prefer to keep the ECG App feature accessible on your watch, we recommend not participating in the Public Beta program. The ECG App feature will be made available again on versions of beta software that we anticipate becoming Live updates. In other words, you will see the ECG feature become enabled again in Beta software toward the end of our quarterly beta cycles. The ECG App feature will remain available with Live software updates (on compatible watches).
