I have purchased a Venu 3 20 May 2025. It is now running firmware 14.15 and it has been going haywire for the past week seemingly randomly. Thinking that it might be badly programmed software, I uninstalled all software and nearly all watch faces, turned off wifi, but no. This afternoon, I left the office at 16:45 to go to the shops. The battery was at 84%. When I got home half an hour later, the watch was extremely hot and the battery at 1%.
While the watch looks and works nicely, it amazes me that the programmers of the OS didn't cater for these kinds of events, whatever the cause. In case anyone respond with the suggestion that I factory reset to see if that helps: why should a customer of such an expensive watch dedicate this much time and effort to use a product which isn't doing what it promised to do? Should we not have the right to demand repair by its maker?
