Activity tracking killed by latest update

After the most recent update a few days ago all my sensors seem to be off line. I have rebooted (soft and via top button held). I have reset the watch. I have put it on charger. I am in the process of draining out the battery and hoping that will be the magical fix as I have heard other watches find success that way. Any other thoughts or ideas to try..., I'm open to ways to not have this expensive watch be equal to a checkout line casio.

Try using Garmin Express to sync and update your device - Installing the Latest Software On Your Venu 3 Series

If you are still experiencing this after updating with Garmin Express, please contact Garmin Support in your region. It is possible that your device will need to be exchanged, and exchanges cannot be initiated via the Forums

Thanks for the idea. I tried that and it seems my WHR is now 58800.79.48, the rest are unchanged. It also seems to be in a SW install loop where it tries to do an update, reboots, then looks fine but no sensors and will trigger again on the next plug in, then unplug. Sometimes I can get it to display Verifying Connect IQ apps" before installing the update I have done for about 10 cycles like this now.

The sensor version showing the 0.01 is an indicator that the sensor software is in a bad state. If Garmin Express didn't resolve the issue, I would definitely get support on the line
