Venu 3 updated to 14.15 but still shows version as 14.10

whilst I agreed to install 14.15 and saw my watch do so, the sw version showing on the watch is 14.10 and settings > system >software update says there is no update available.

When reported to Garmin the suggestion was to use Garmin Express to check updates. That reported the watch up to date on 14.10 with no updates available.

Then this Tuesday, my watch offered an update and now shows in settings as 14.15.
