Barometer issues on Venu3 and 530 after software update

I have a Venu 3 and a 530 I use while bicycling. Both have worked well until today. Mid-ride, the elevation reading on both devices stopped working. I deleted the track on the 530, but the Venu was similar. After several ups and downs, the Venu elevation flat-lined at exactly 1000 ft elevation. The 530 had a similar result but I did not verify the location or the elevation.  Since one is on my wrist and the other on the handlebar, it is very unlikely that both sensors got gummed up on the same ride.  The basic GPS functionality was unaffected. The elevation reading was static but the grade was way out of whack, reading a -20% grade while I was climbing a >14% hill.  This is probably related to the barometer, but I don't understand why this would change the sign of the gradient.

The Venu 3 was updated since the last ride but I am not sure about the 530. The Venu 3 is running software v13.19 and Sensor Version 33.13.  The 530 is SW version 9.75.

Is this a known problem? When will a fix be available?
