Voice notes on Venu 3.

This is how I do it: I use the voice assistant and let it create a note. It then asks me what should be in the note? I then dictate what I want to keep. I do this with iPhone and Siri, but I'm sure it works with Google too.

Thanks Alex but I want to take notes WITHOUT my phone, such as being on a run which I never take my phone with me. I know Fenix 6 can do it via an app but it seems Venu 3 doesn't have that access to the app.

Seems strange as Venu 3 has a microphone and speaker so it shouldn't be a big deal. Cheers.

Exactly. I have requested this feature many times and so far Garmin has been too lazy or reluctant to do it. And they call this watch a smartwatch. My list of frustration with Venu 3 is growing and growing. On top of that the new 13.17 firmware update adds nothing new, another update gone.

Yes, very disappointing, especially as I was told (via a google search) that it could do this function.

Hopefully they will be kind and responsive and give us this app to make voice notes without having our phones. Cheers 

yes, this is an absolutely a must have feature with a mic. I was shocked to find out that venu3 does not have it.
Especially, since Venu3 was the "smartest" Garmin watch  for some time (now Fenix8 has voice memo)  

True. I have no idea who is heading such differentiation among products at Garmin. Whoever he/she is, they are doing a fantastic job in destroying the share market of Garmin worldwide.
