Battery deteriorated suddenly After latest update December 2024. Battery used to last 7-10 days, now it loses +50% in a single day. Change happened overnight after software upgrade. Checked all settings, no changes. Please advise.

Given up. I was the one who raised the “thread” 25 days ago and I am still in the dark with no answers. Absolutely no support from Garmin on the issue and their willingness to assist with customer support…
I switched my watch off. Charged it to 100% and it is looking good now, so I was a bit quick saying 12.12 didn't work. looks like I needs a power cycle after the update.
Garmin-Tracy pay attention to this thread
Sad. I have a similar issue with my Venu2 and now I'm considering buying a different watch brand. They just broke Venu2 after released 19.05SW.
Having the same problems here with my Venu 3 after the last update(s). Sometimes thre is no battery drain and battery holds for days and sometimes (yesterday), my watch lost >50% battery. I am currently on 12.12
In reading through the thread it appears to be a mix of resolved and unresolved for a change in battery life. If you are still experiencing shorter battery time please let me know and I will follow up with you via Private Message with some additional questions.
Hi Garmin-Tracy, yes, I am still having these issues from time to time ... not every day. Please let me know what information you need. Thanks
I have just reset my phone because of this issue again, hoping to solve it temporarily, as it sometimes does. I experience this since the purchase. I don't know what triggers it, because I don't change any settings.
Yes, battery life has been cut in half on my Venu 3,(from 15 Days down to 7 to 8 days), with zero user setting changes :-( I even reduced the display brightness down to 30 in an effort to re-gain some battery life, but that had zero.effect.
Does Garmin even employ Testers anymore, (a.k.a. Quality Assurance / QA), or, like too many other companies, has Garmin eliminated almost all of your Testers in order to "save a buck"; thereby turning your customers into your Testers? These watches are far from inexpensive, and Garmin is a huge company, how about doing a better job testing these updates BEFORE releasing them? That sure would make your customers happier.
Hi Garmin-Tracy, having the same issue on my wife's Venu3. She has version 12.12 installed. And she only gets 3-4 days of battery life.
for me, a full reset with data delete has helped a lot.
