Given up. I was the one who raised the “thread” 25 days ago and I am still in the dark with no answers. Absolutely no support from Garmin on the issue and their willingness to assist with customer support…
I switched my watch off. Charged it to 100% and it is looking good now, so I was a bit quick saying 12.12 didn't work. looks like I needs a power cycle after the update.

I have seen a pattern that suggests the issue is the watch losing connectivity to the phone and continuously looking for it, in my case to an iphone 12 mini. The venu3 has very poor bluetooth range when compared with an Apple Watch 8. Very poor.
W the latest beta 12.12 seems daily avg went down to the 10-11% on venu 3. Which is absolutely ok
I've noticed the same, if I go out of range of my phone, the watch seems to go into overdrive trying to find Bluetooth to connect to. If my phone doesn't have the Bluetooth icon showing it does the same, even if the watch is still syncing, if the icon is gone I have to reset my phone's Bluetooth to stop the battery drain.
How do you get the beta? As I'm not sure I can wait till a GA release
Just as a test try keeping your phone near the watch for a day. i’m finding it makes a huge difference.

I've just had an email to say that my Venu3S needs to be replaced with a recertified version. My concern is going through this whole process to only have the exact same issue has anybody done this?
I've upgraded to 12.12 and there has been a slight improvement, but I am still only getting 36 hours on a full battery.
I also upgraded to 12.12 and cannot see improvement in battery life. It is getting to be so annoying...

I’m starting to think that it’s by design as a system engineered to do this after certain time integrated into software updates so that you are forced to buy a new watch.
I went another way and have gone with a different brand watch. For both my wife and I. Because we simply cannot condone, accept and support this type of attitude from a company towards their customers.
