Venu3 Bluetooth disconnects

Venu 3 bought about 30 days ago.  Watch worked fine until the recent firm ware update.

Since the update the bluetooth on the watch turns itself off and on continously.  This causes the phone and the watch to lose BT connection.

I have done all the normal tricks for reconnecting.  Those work until the watch starts turning off and on the BT connection.  Furthermore, i will get notices that the phone is disconnected and reconnected.  This also drains the battery.

  • I finally figured out it was the sleep time settings. I noticed that the watch would automatically connect with the phone after 7am and all the notifications and alerts would come pouring in. Then realized it disconnected due to the sleep time settings so as to prevent the notifications.
