Incoming call contact name

When I receive a call my Venu 3 does not show the contact name but only the phone number, while on the Vivoactive 5 it shows the name of the person calling me. I checked the permissions on the smartphone and they are all active.

You should add the names to the Contact Lists inside the Garmin Connect app (you can add only 50 names):

There are a number of settings/permissions that can cause this. I would take a look at -

Make sure the you're on the current software release for your device
Has the Gamin Connect App been updated recently
Is your device paired to an Android or an iPhone?
Is there a Pop-up setting on your phone? if so is Detailed chosen?
Are you using any 3rd party apps such as TrueCaller or similar?

this stupid but (with iPhone):

1. If you want to use phone calls on the watch, you can use only 50 contacts (not synced with iPhone but entered on Garmin Connect app)

2. If you answer the phone anyway. Disable phone call on the watch and contact name will show up
