Yes, I recommend it. It tracks activities well, provides a lot of data, and it looks good.
Durable? Depends on how you treat it. Do you want to use it in all types of weather? No problem. Toss it around on a pile of rocks? I don't recommend that for any electronic device. It can survive a short drop just fine but it's not made for slamming into stuff.
