broadcast heart rate stops after 1 second

If I use the broadcast Heart Rate option found in Settings / Watch Sensors / Wrist Heart Rate / Broadcast Heart Rate. On this screen I see my heart rate, that it is off and that i can press the A button to start broadcasting. If I press A, the off status goes, but then within a second the broadcast is switched off.

SW version is 10.20.

Cany anyone confirm if this functionm works on this version?

I had this problem occasionally in the past when I was using the unction more frequent and a restart of the watch usually solved it.

Right now it works for me with the latest (non-beta) software but I'm not using it that often anymore.

It may also help to make sure your activity is set to broadcast your heart rate.

I restarted the watch and problem solved.

Wonder how it got into such a funny state in the first place.
