My venu (couldn't post on the venu forum) appears to have recently been updated to version 7.9, and ever since the update I've been having multiple issues with the watch:
Watchface image constantly overlayed on all screens
Battery now draining in less than half a day
Heart rate not being recorded intermittently
Step count no longer being recoeded
Swipe gestures sometimes not working.
I have performed hard resets on the device several times, cleared everything and resynced etc but but the above issues keep happening. Watch was working fine prior to the lataest updates. This is very frustrating as the watch is no longer functioning or performing as it should.
Are any of the above known issues following the latest SW release and are they being worked on? Again, watch was functioning fine prior to latest update so I am at a loss as to why all of a sudden the device would essentially become pretty useless for it's intended purposes.
In relation to the activity tracking features such as heart rate and step count, I can confirm all settings in the watch, and via Garmin connect are turned on as would be required.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Support team offered me a reburbished venu for $160 and only 3 months guarantee, but this is no solution for me. I don't want to have this same problem in a couple months. I have convinced all my family and friends to buy garmin and now I have to take my words back...
