This is my second garmin venu 3s and I got a replacement for this exact reason as well as battery drain problems..
When I woke up at around 8am, I pressed the wake button on the watch to indicate that I woke up. But then after about an hour or so, I went back to sleep because I wasn't feeling well. When I woke up 2 hours later, the watch went to sleep mode and it shows sleeping on the sleep glance. I pressed on it and it showed a wake button, so I pressed that one. But then it only goes to black screen. Nothing works unless I swipe to go back which brings me back to the glances but it still shows sleeping... I've tried powering it off then back on but nothing changed. The problem is the watch goes to sleep mode automatically because it still thinks I am sleeping even when I am not. I wanna use it regularly in the day but it goes back to sleep mode on its own even after I turn the sleep mode off. It does eventually go back to normal but it took almost 6 hours for it to do so... It shouldn't take that long.
I know this is a software issue because I had the same issue with my first product.
Please fix this software. It is actually one of the more annoying bugs I've seen on a smartwatch so far.
