I went out for a walk, on my left wrist a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 pro that I've had for 6 months, on the right the new Garmin Venu 3 that I bought after getting an iPhone that I've had for two weeks. The Samsung detects my walking, the Garmin set for automatic detection only notices it after 22 minutes... as a result the Samsung detected 35 minutes of walking, 2.56 km and 3432 steps and stops detecting when I stop, the Garmin instead it continues for a few minutes even if I'm still steady and will end up calculating 18 minutes, 1.17 km and 1550 steps. how is it possible? Shouldn't the Garmin be better as a sports watch?
