Watch overtake Bluetooth connection when two (2) Bluetooth device is connected like a headphone. Default Audio

I usually connect my Venu 3 watch and earbud for gym workout yet whenever I get a call from any messaging app like Google phone, messenger or even watching YouTube, it priority the watch but no audio comes out.

In the phone app, you don't see the earbud in Bluetooth, only the watch. You need to disable call in the phone Bluetooth setting then activate the headphone. Or why didn't it play on watch speaker. This is really counter intuitive. It should be smart enough to know there's a Bluetooth headset priority then we can change to watch speaker of needed...

I hope it's not the same issue with android auto when calls pass to watch and muted instead of call Bluetooth. Where can we change all these settings?

Plus, when you're not in the phone app, the watch keep vibrating and notifying continuously that it's ongoing call! Like, yes, we know! Stop vibrating and notifying me non stop!

The way the watch handles phone calls is a joke. Sadly garmin (as demonstrated here) don't give a *** about how their products work. We've found that out countless times

I noticed a similar problem. When listening to voice mail (in a voice mail app, not by calling in for messages) the audio is routed to my watch. I can easily change it to the phone speaker, but why does this happen? As mentioned above, the sound doesn't come out of the watch speaker, I hear nothing until I switch it back to my phone. This is with a Google Pixel 9 Pro on T-Mobile in the US.

Yes, same. Watch becomes the default but no sound from the watch. Have to switch to the phone.
