Display turn off glitch

Hello,

I am very satisfied with the new Venu 3, except for one thing. Often, the display only turns off "half way", so that the dial/background turns off, but the hands stay on (see attached photo). It happens when the watch turns on with a hand movement and goes off after the set time, without me turning it off again with a hand movement. As soon as I turn them off with the movement of my hand, this "half-off" also goes off. It do different dials.

Could it be a setting (5s, high sensitivity), a sw (wait for update) or hw (faulty gyroscope/accelerometer) error? Thanks for the tips!

Did you turn always on display? Check in setings-system-display-general use-Always on needs to be off...

Nope, AOD is off. Gesture is on, other sets like i wrote above.

Thank you for your report. I was able to reproduce this with the same settings with the exception of AOD setting. This setting was enabled on my watch. It is working as designed as can be seen in this FAQ: The Displayed Watch Face Shifted on My AMOLED Watch

Ok, i understand, but it happens with AOD setting "off". After 5s display turns to AOD view instead of turning off. Only sometimes (often), as i wrote above. Thx.

I have the same with my Venu 3. I have AOD set to off, and observe this often.

Seems like AOD "off" setting is NOT working.

Have you tried restoring defaults to see if this changes.

I tried, 1 day is it ok, we will see. But i had to set everything from the beginning!:( Any options of backup? Manually did not find and automatically does not work. And any new ideas, when it comes back? This procedure i refuse. Thx.

Unfortunately, as i expected, factory defaults did not help, so any more ideas or warranty exchange? Thx.
