Anyone else’s Venu 3 not tracking steps when pushing a shopping cart? Sounds silly I know but my Venu 2 did. It’s also not accurate on a treadmill. Like way off.

Not sure how the Venu 2 was able to track steps, but pushing a cart would certainly reduce the number of steps being recorded, since the accelerometer cannot detect arm movement.
I Am Not Getting Enough Step Credit
There are also instances where a lack of arm movement may result in a lack of steps recorded while you are walking. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Pushing a stroller or cart
- Mowing the lawn
- Carrying a bag of groceries or a child
- Holding the safety handles of a treadmill while walking
- Holding hiking poles or sticks
- Riding a bike
- Holding a leash while walking a pet
