Garmin doesn't publish future plans for new features until the day they are released. We can only speculate on the forums.
Currently this activity is available only on the recent versions in the Wearables and Running/Multisport category of watches. If I had to guess, I would say no, but you can request it here - Share Ideas | Garmin
