Google Assistant Audio Very Quiet

My wife has just set up her Venu 3s and when connecting to Google Assistant the audio played from the watch is very quiet, almost inaudible even when at maximum volume for Voice.

The system volume is fine

Any suggestions? Is this a typical experience for others or could there be an issue? Any recommendations of what to try?

It's too bad this feature is so undependable. When it first appeared, it worked well. Now I don't bother because it rarely works. And I'm not going to turn the volume all the way up on my phone to hear…

I think I may have sorted mine, although google assistant is default on my phone it appears that it maybe Bixby controlling the assistant volume. I stumbled on it by asking google assistant on my watch, but while it was replying at very low volume, I turned up the assistant volume, which had the Bixby logo. The watch was at about 2/3 volume.

Shouldn't have to mess about like this!

Deggs YOU ARE A GENIUS.

It solved my problem too!!

I had my Bixby turned off. So I re-enabled it. I activated assistant on my watch. It triggered Bixby on my phone and I increased its volume on phone. I deactivated Bixby and my Google assistant is loud and clear.

Now it makes sense. That is why somebody above reported it works with Google phone but not with Samsung. Bixby is to blame.

Don't know about genius, but I don't like to be beaten!

I have put in an official support request for the problem, but as yet have had no solutions!

That makes sense for Samsung phones - well done for discovering it.

It doesn't help those with non Samsung Android phones - like my Pixel as there is only Google Assistant on there.

Actually - I do think there is something similar on my Pixel Fold - I asked Google Assistant something and turned up the volume on the phone while it was speaking on my watch and the volume went up on the watch. This is on a Venu 2+ not a 3 but it may work for you as well.

Same problem for me. I have a Venu 2 Plus and a Fairphone 4. There is no way to increase the volume of Google Assistant...
