My heart rate sensor on my Garmin Venu 3 does not stop blinking after I turn off the the wrist heart rate through the Sensors menu. Is anyone else experiencing this? My older Garmin watch shut off the lilghts after deactivating the wrist heart rate.

I think this was discussed earlier, and also observed in some models like Fenix or Epix. It is kept on if you have Garmin Pay (only 2 LEDs will be on) and maybe one of the ways to check if it is on a wrist or not.

I don’t have any cards in my Garmin Pay. Still blinking.

Yes. Same.

I think you cannot stop the lights from blinking when it is on your wrist. It could be used as a detection if the watch is on your wrist or not. I guess it will turn off if you remove it from your wrist and keep the watch upside down. Keeping it on a table might confuse the OHR and it may blink again. Try keeping it upside down and it should turn off in some time.

The blinking is constant when on wrist - - It's only the middle two lights that blink.

I just noticed this as well. It's like a strobe light and doesn't stop. Just two of the lights though.

Is that how it is supposed to work? Is there any way to make it stop?

The venu 2+ had the same issue which did get fixed with an update. We would like it fixed on the venu 3 too.

Nah, the two vertical lights (on the back) are constantly blinking/flashing.

After downloading the 9.16 beta update I checked this again. The HR sensor lights no longer blink after turning off the heart rate sensor.
