Safhire glass is weak

I bought the venu 3 after a year of using fenix7..

I did everything with this watch, no scratches no nothing..

But with the venu3 after 2 months already pretty big scratches from a zipper

Terrible quality of glass

Anybody else same experience?

Well, as mentioned, it's not sapphire glass. Also, the display is slightly curved, making it more prone to scratches in general. You could put one of those self healing screen protectors on there, as that…

It is not Sapphire glass and I always recommend a tempered or a TPU screen protector. I had Vivoactive 3 for 6 years, with a screen protector and it has literally no scratches. And, there is no point comparing…

Venu 3 has Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Hard to scratch, but not scratch proof.
Some models (Fenix/epix Gen 2) use Sapphire Crystal. More difficult to scratch than Gorilla Glass, but still not 100% scratch proof.

Good video here. Apparently not afraid to scratch some expensive watches for testing purposes.

Well, as mentioned, it's not sapphire glass. Also, the display is slightly curved, making it more prone to scratches in general. You could put one of those self healing screen protectors on there, as that would make the scratches slightly less visible and protect the display from future damage.

Yup...I got scratched display pretty fast too, despite trying to be carefull

I know it's gorilla glass 3 but I emailed garmin customer service and they said it was sapphire glass... Thank God they know their own product..

I could made it fixed for 180 dollar, haha
