Does the Venu 3 work well with the Mi 11i smartphone?

I bought the Venu 3s for my wife and Mi11i... unfortunately the voice assistant doesn't work on the Venu 3s because it always says "unlock the smartphone first" and then you might as well use the smartphone to make the call. Let's hope for a future update....but I have my doubts.

You can check the Garmin-Inder link below and you need to specifically enable: Assistant on your Lock Screen and then it will work without unlocking the smartphone.

That's the incompatibility problem. I enabled voice assistant during the lock screen but it still doesn't work. Must be a smartphone problem. Thanks anyway for your support. Maybe future Android updates will fix this

Some have suggested turning on Personal Results too. Try that. Also, make sure Hey Google Hotword is activated.

Go to Assitant Settings> Lock Screen. Assistant responses on the Lock screen should be On, and below that you will see Also get personal results...., turn that to On also.
