Unusul body battery drop
Unusul body battery drop
This has been observed before on Fenix and Epix watches (but it is not common). Not sure why that is happening. You're best option would be to notify Garmin about this. I will check later tomorrow if I have a similar scenario.
I took a health snapshot and it did not reduce my body battery. I will redo it again tomorrow and update it (I shall take it in the morning). My guess is, your body battery was not updated (like only when you do something it will update immediately, for example, an activity or a nap, etc). So when you took a health snapshot, it updated your body battery widget to present time. Open Garmin connect and navigate to body battery for the day you took the health snapshot and see the curve if there is a sudden dip at the time of snapshot or the dip is gradual (indicating the value on your widget was not updated). You can post the snapshot here.
That's exactly what happened. Thanks very much.
You're Welcome
While I caught a nice person like you, let me ask another question: I recently discovered, thanks to my Venu 3, my real problem is stress. What are your stress levels? I have no one to compare myself to. Do you mind sharing?
That depends on the sleep quality, work, consumption of alcohol or caffeine after 6 PM, and a few more factors. My average stress levels vary between 20-35. When I sleep less, it can go as high as 50 (while being idle), but that is a combination of poor sleep, work on that particular day, and probably excessive caffeine consumption to keep me focussed.
Stress can also be an indicator of an upcoming illness or something like that. I remember having close to 24 hours of high stress and HR after I took my first COVID-19 vaccine (this was on my old watch, Vivoactive 3).
What are your stress values? Draining your body battery faster?
I have a very stressful job and position. During some meetings my stress goes really high, I even get warning from my Venu 3 that my heart rate is too high, that's understandable. But I recently discovered that during eating my stress levels immediately go up to 90+. I am on Keto for about nine months now and I usually eat once a day. Maybe I am getting over excited because I eat seldom.
What's your watch now?
Eating once a day can have a negative effect if your job is stressful. There is no doubt your stress is high. Plenty of sleep and probably some meditation is required to calm down. I am not against keto or anything, but if it doesn't suit your work style or anything, you have to make changes to your diet. It might not be good in the long run.
