Change log:

  • Adds new activities for team sports, racket sports, and more.
  • Adds the Nap glance.
  • Adds wrist based Run Power support.
  • Adds wrist based Running Dynamics visible in Garmin Connect.
  • Adds the Red Shift control, which changes the display color to red, green, or orange to preserve night vision in low light.
  • Adds a Workouts app to the Activities list.

Additional Updates:

  • Muscle Map: 2.33
  • Activity Icon Animations: 1.04
  • Golf Course DB: 1.03
  • I have already installed the update and am happy to have the running efficiency data in Garmin Connect. I would like to have the data for the ratio of the ground contact time when running (left/right) so that I could possibly compensate for any muscular imbalances through strength training. Does anyone know whether the Garmin Running Dynamics Pod will also work with the Venu 3 after the beta update and whether I could therefore evaluate the ratio of the ground contact time in Garmin Connect?

  • I downloaded it and red shift is amazing! It would be nice to have the option for custom times when it activates because right  now the sub goes down already at 5 and I actually don’t want red shift to be activated that early

also: the always on display is even more dim now which I don’t like. I can barely read it(which defeats the purpose of always on)

please add at least an option to get an even brighter always on display with maybe a little warning that it will consume more battery.

Don't know if the devs even read this but another idea: make the red shift accessible to the shortcut buttons. Like holding the middle button to toggle between red shift on/off would also be nice.

  • You can choose to activate red shift only during "sleep hours".

  • sure but the sun goes down at 5 like I said and I don't sleep at 5. This is when I come back from work... I would like to set red shift at around 9 or 10 or something

  • Nothings forces you to activate it at 5 ...unless I miss something :)

    In display settings

    - set red shift as deactivated during general use.

    - set red shift as activated during sleep hours

Configure sleep hours in your user profile.

Also, there is a shortcut available in the commands screen (top button long press)

  • I understand what you are saying but I don't want my watch think that I sleep when I am actually not and also I lose AOD in sleep mode.

Thanks for the shortcut tip! But I still would like to have the option to activate it faster with just a button press.

  • She won't think you sleep. It's not the way it works. Unsure about AOD.

  • you should also look again for some location optimization. This was also in the "not beta". some times it still shows like AM/PM times even though I live in Germany and we have 24h. Also some things are still written in English. Not a big deal to me personally since I speak English pretty well I guess but it feels kinda "cheap" and not thought out and kinda lazy.

  • Beta Update is installed and i am super happy about adding some more Activities, now it is the perfect watch for ppl with all day activities a pretty good allrounder now at this point!

i hope skin temperature is coming soon again.

Also a great feature would be Training Readiness and Training Score. If these 2 features would come to Venu 3, it would be the perfect garmin Watch with all needed Smart, Health and Training functions <3

what about ECG function in Germany?

  • nuova beta 8.25

    qualcuno sà cosa sia cambiato?
