Venu 3 disconnects all the time

  1. I just bought the Venu 3 (V3) and it is has a very unstable BT connection. I'm lucky if it stays connected for more than 3 minutes. 
  2. I have also experienced that the V3 dissappear from the connect app so I have to install the watch all over again
  3. Using version 7.0.7.
  4. Mobile phone: HONOR View 20, android 11 (4 years old). 
  5. (PS. Forerunner 945 worked perfectly with my phone.) 
  • I had the same issue with my old Huawei P30 Pro. Your phone, just like mine, is not compatible with Garmin Venu 3.

  • hi all, I have a Huawei P30 and same issues. I keep getting the same suggestions and guides that really don't help. I had a vivoactive 3, at the beginning same issues, after a Garmin connect update it went well. no problem at all. so I'm surpriced that Venu 3 is having so much issues.

    btw, I tried Something that seems to have stabilized a bit the situation, enabling some faster reconnections after switch on/off of the venu or of the Phone.

    in addition to what is already suggested by Garmin in regards to notifications and battery usage:

    under location-> advanced settings-> wi-Fi and BT scanning enabled. it seems better.
