Phone call notifications missing

My wife has a 3 week old Venu 3S (switched from a Fenix) Today, the watch stopped displaying phone call notifications, but still shows notifications for missed calls.

Garmin Connect shows the phone connected, we can sync the device, but the watch does not appear in her iOS Bluetooth devices. We are receiving weather data, and text message and other notifications on the watch just fine.

We tried re-pairing Bluetooth, but receive an error on the Garmin Connect side. No error message, just a bunch of troubleshooting links.

Can anyone suggest what we can do to to resolve? Hopefully I have provided enough info to get started.

Just wanted to chime in that my Venu 3s also did not alert me of phone calls today. It also will no longer activate voice assistance despite being connected to the phone. Sorry I don’t have an answer, but wanted to let Garmin know this isn’t just a problem one customer is having.

Does your Venu 3 appear on your phone as a Bluetooth device? Ours does not, although other Garmin devices still do.

It does. It is not called Venu 3 though, it’s UAT-4261.

We would also advise that you update the software on your Venu 3 watches to the most recent. Installing the Latest Software On Your Fitness Device

I find this happens occasionally and without any pattern I can figure out. Usually forget/pair works, but sometimes just turning Bluetooth off/on on your phone with fix it. If it's listed as Venu 3, it should work. Any other name, it won't work.
