Does the Venu3 support cycling vo2 max?

The website specs don't have it listed explicitly (whereas other watches do).

The website specs only say VO2 Max (run).

It does say that the watch is Power Meter compatible though.

I don't have a venu3 yet but interestingly my friend got one and he is not able to set power zones for the watch. I wonder if it's not actually supported?

It can connect to a power meter (and smart trainer), but it doesn´t calculate VO2 Max (nowhere that I have found at least), it also doesn´t support changing the default ftp (200W) so basically it´s more…

yeah I got confirmation from support saying the same thing. it does not support cycling vo2 max, and you can't set your FTP.

I haven't been cycling but I see vo2 max for both run and cycling on my Venu3 (they are separate)

oh interesting, is this on the watch itself? Or are you talking about in the garmin connect app?

And do you have another Garmin device that is cycling vo2 max compatible?

Sad but true... It´s a shame when quite nice and decent hardware such as this is let down by appaling software and company policies...
