Can you navigate to Home Screen During an Activity?

During an Activity, can you navigate to the Home Screen/Other Screens whilst the Activity is still running in the background, and then return to the Activity subsequently?

For example, during a long Activity you might want to check the weather etc without stopping the Activity from recording.

This is not a question about ‘Resume Later’, which I know Venu 3 doesn’t have.

It is about whether you can leave the Activity screen during the Activity.

Sure you can. Swipe right during the activity to move back to your watchface.

When you're done with your other stuff you can go back to your watchface again and now swipe left to return to your activity.

Is there any limit on how long you can remain on the Home Screen/Other Screens during an Activity?

I just read that on Venu 2 Plus, if you swiped right to get to the Home Screen during an Activity, it only stayed on the Home Screen for a few seconds before automatically returning to the Activity Screen.

Has that changed on Venu 3?

From my limited testing from the last 5 minutes, it does not revert back when staying either on your home screen or when you open a specific glance.

I could let my watch turn its screen off and come back to it at the exact spot I left it. Going back towards the activity was still possible after that.

I have only tested this while standing still the whole time, so maybe if you get specific notifications from your activity, such as a completed lap, it could revert the screen back towards it.

No idea how this worked on the Venu 2 plus. I used the venu 1 before this, but actually never really went back to my homescreen except for a fast check of the actual time.

If you want, I could test this during an actual run but you'll have to wait for a couple of days.

If you could test this during an actual run it would be much appreciated.

I quite often do long Activities, so being able to go to Homescreen etc during an Activity is important for me.
