Bluetooth connection keeps disconnecting

I've got my Venu 3 since yesterday. Before, I had Venu 2 and had no issues with that model. The new watch often loses bluetooth connection for some time, sometimes I need to re-pair with Garmin Connect.

Garmin Venu 3, sw version: 6.21
Phone: Huawei P30 Pro

I am aware that there are some issues with Huawei phone and Garmin watches bluetooth connectivity but I had no issues with Venu 2, so I am not sure if the issue is the phone or watch itself.

I have a Google phone, and I'm having the same problem. It worked for half a day, and now it doesn't. I'm very disappointed with this watch since it's not that cheap.

I am having the same issue with an iPhone. I believe the "range" for the bluetooth does not appear to be very strong. I can be at the other side of the room about 10 feet away and it loses connections. I love this watch but am thinking of switching back to my Apple Watch if this doesn't get fixed.

I have the Google Pixel 8 Pro and I also am having issues staying connected throughout the day. I couldn't figure out why all of a sudden out of the blue I would receive all these texts emails and alerts all at once. I then started noticing that when I looked at my watch face throughout the day, that my bluetooth connection icon would be lit part of the day and off part of the day. It seemed random and at no particular time throughout the day.

I have the Google seven, and I was having the same problem. I actually returned the watch, got a new one and I had no problem with it. I think I had a bad venue 3 watch. That's at least in my case.

I have had the watch for about 6 months. It appears to have started with the most recent update. Prior, I had zero issues.

Had my Venu 3 for 2 weeks had to repair 3X... Love the watch hate the hassle of trying to figure out way it drops the Bluetooth connection and I have tp re-add the device. Wish they would get this fixed?!!? Tracfone Samsung A03.

The Bluetooth is a disaster, and it affects both android and iOS. My fear is there is no good fix because it’s not just a software issue. I think the hardware components that Garmin has chosen in terms of connectivity is just bad. It probably has lowered production costs but resulted in a worse product. Who knows what’s happening behind the scenes at Garmin, maybe things are getting bad enough that all that matters right now is short term income
