venu2 keeps freezing how do I reset it to Factory settings.

I have enjoyed using my Venu2 for 2-3 years without any issues at all...

The last 3 months the watch started to freeze - and malfunction - there is plenty of power on the watch but it shuts down with a black screen - if an activity has started and I stop and cancel the save of the activity - then the warch shuts down - can cannot be turned on again - only via plugging in the watch to my PC and GE.

I would like to RESET the watch to factory settings with GE - how do I do that

I have already tried to activate DEMO Mode - this did not help

Should I update the watch firmware ?

Just do it from the watch. - Venu 2 Series - Restoring All Default Settings | Venu 2 | Garmin Support

Did resetting the watch help with the issue? I’ve been having the same problems and I’m ready to just throw the watch away and I’m so disappointed cause before these issues started I really loved my watch.

If I do end up needing to get a new device, it’ll def not be another Garmin.

I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED by the Support Team on 11-09-2025 - and been asked to provide a little more information about when exactly the issue with freeze and shut down occurs - then they will dive into the issue and return. - Hopefully Soon - as I fell the same way - I truely have recomended GARMIN to many friends - because of the great product and reliable functionality - and expect that to be the case going forward - lets see...
