Venu 2s turns off after 43%

My Venu 2S turns off at 43%. It comes back on as soon I plug it in and will charge to 100% and stay on until 43% and then turns off again. The watch has 19.05 SW version.

This is now happening all the time and it's very frustrating of I am exercising

  • Hello!

I apologize for this disruption. Please contact Garmin Support in your region. It is possible that your device will need to be exchanged, and exchanges cannot be initiated via the Forums

  • Hello,

Were you able to find a solution to this? My Venu 2s would turn off right on 52% and I would connect it to power and it would last about another 2 hours until 45% and then it refuses to turn back on. It doesn't feel like a visual issue because the watch can only last about a day before it needs to be charged back up to 100%

  • snap - me too, only since the latest update

  • As the watch ages, it can't withstand the vibration power requirements at lower charge levels. If you want to extend the battery life, try completely disabling vibration.

  • Will try this to see if it works

  • My Venu 2s problem started at the end of March, beginning of April with the watch turning off when i wanted to end an activity and the battery was less than 30%. Then it started during off during an activity and then when i started one. If first the issue was only when the battery was 30% or less, then it was 50% or less, 60% or less, etc. Then it started turning off without any activity. And won't turn on without plugging it in. Now (by the end of May) it turns off randomly 10-15 times day or night even when the battery is 99%. So it has gotten worse and worse. I got it checked out by my country's Garmin support (it's not a battery issue) and they don't know what the issue is, but said it's not fixable. But as it started after the software update, then i can guess... Basically i can't use my watch as a pedometer or even just a watch any more.
