Venu 2 HR reads low while walking at a brisk pace or on a recumbent bike.

This has happened within the past week.  I go to the gym 3 days per week and walk briskly for a 16 minute mile every evening.  In both of those environments I can expect to see  HRs in the upper 120 range.  Now the Venu 2 won't detect HR higher than the mid 90s.

The only saving feature is I still have a functioning Chest band.

Tis there a way to fix the problem.  the Venu is less than 2 yo.Venu 2, HR

  • Lots of us have the same problem. I posted about it a couple of weeks ago.

Garmin has ignored this probleem for at least 2 years since I owned the watch. Now that the Venu 3 is out, this will never get fixed. Garmin's attiitude on problem solving stinks! It;s all about selling new hardware and never fixing what has been sold.

  • Thanks for the reply.  I was afraid I would get a reply like yours. This is same reason I left Fitbit several years ago, for non-existent customer service.  I wonder, do any of these tech companies even know what CS is?
