Battery drain v19.05

  Garmin venu 2 watch battery

I am having exactly the same issues as many others on battery drain.

None of the "battery saving guidelines" from the official website have any impact on the battery performance, it does not make any impact on the problem at all.

I have NO additional watch faces or applications installed. Power cycling does nothing and I have tried a factory reset. This problem started about 2 months ago for me, after one of the updates i guess...

The battery charge indicator cannot be relied on at all.

1. Watch at about 50% of the battery charge jumps down to 0% and then abruptly turns off a few minutes later or turns off immediately without showing 0% at all...

2. After plugging into the charger it starts the charging process from about 30%-40% of the battery.

3. If you turn on a workout with GPS or try to do a sync with the Garmin Connect App when the battery is at about ~40% - the watch is GUARANTEED to immediately turn off...

4. Watch will just randomly turn off and the blue triangle and battery indicator will pop up when trying to turn it back on. If you continue trying to turn it on it will go into some type of system mode showing a QR looking code and screens to go through some tests and showing the sensors. Then sometimes the watch will turn back on and seem to be working.

Watch wasn't having any issues then randomly maybe with an update started having this problem seems to be affecting A LOT of users.

At this moment the watch seems to be working for about 4-5 days without doing any activities, but clearly after starting an activity it will lock up with a blue triangle and not unlock for some time or until I plug it in.

In advance I am giving permission to turn on logging on the watch if it is possible and:
