How do I set the correct time in my Venu 2?

My Venu 2 cannot be synchronized with the mobile (or laptotp) time; it is always about 30 sec. late. I tried to synchronize it through System; however, this method does not work. How can I set the correct time?

Setting the time manually and then afterwards setting it back to auto and re-sync has worked on mine when the time has drifted off.

Following up on what PeterK-55 said, you would want to verify your Time Settings and make sure the Time Source setting is set to Auto.
