Venu 2 - problems with floors and tracking

Sw ver. 19.05

Two problems:

1)  Venu 2 continue to register floors even if you are only walking.

2) after tracking an activity, no map appears in Garmin Connect. GPS is on. No data about speed and distance. Health data ok.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

  • 1. Getting floors while walking is normal. It is measuring elevation gain and a floor is about 10 ft.

    2. Are you starting an activity or just using Move  IQ? If you started an activity before the GPS is ready, as indicated on the watch, then maybe that is the problem.

  • 1) thanks. In the past it was different. Maybe the software update gave more sensibilità.

    2) started ski activity on my watch. Waited gps fix. Started activity. The result is the same every time.

  • Tried with other activities and the problem is the same

  • 1. Been that way for years and same on previous models I've owned.

    2. Walk and Bike both produce maps on my Venu2.. So maybe you need to connect it to Express and get any updates. Sometimes GPS updates. Restart watch. I don't use Ski so I can't relate to that activity.

  • I tried to switch off my watch and star tracking again: everything ok. Restart watch was the solution.

    Thanks for your help!
