Garmin Venu 2 - Heart Rate Sensor seized to function displaying (heart rate shows as "--") - On Version 19.05

The heart rate sensor & blood Ox sensors have stopped functioning. I've done all the troubleshooting on all of the similar posts however had no success in regaining the functionality. I've gone as far as doing a full reset a few times with no luck. The Garmin Venu 2 is on SW Version is 19.05 and all of the necessary settings regarding the sensor are correct. Please advise as to next steps... this problem appears to be prevalent across this particular model. I use this daily so it's imperative I get it up and running.

    Hi, can i ask how old yours is? When I started posting on this forum and i created a support ticket all of the sudden i received an intermediate update stating "Sensor firmware updated". After that update it worked again. So i guess, it's a matter of getting the right attention so that a Garmin engineer/admin can push an update to your device. To me, it is still unclear why all of the sudden the software was overwritten. Now it feels that a mistake was made on the end of Garmin's device management where software / firmware updates are managed.

    Hey there!,

    Mine was a 1 year old Venu 2. No I actually went the route for official support and after running through questions about the condition of the watch with their customer support they offered to exchange it for a replacement instead. I always felt that it was a software or patching issue as the Sensor Hub was stuck at v0.01 which i've seen others report without a way to remediate from the user side. Hopefully no further issues with the new watch!

    Hi,

    My Venu 2 is at least 2 years old however have not had any luck in getting it to work. I will need to reach out to support soon... I simply have not had the time. Now that you've mentioned an engineer/admin I will make it a priority to contact support.
