Most suitable activity for VR gaming?

I play a lot of physically intense VR rhythm games, and I'm wondering which type of activity category would be most suitable for recording my VR sessions. It’s definitely not "gaming activity," as that’s designed for only a few PC games and honestly feels more like a joke. I’m leaning toward categorizing it as cardio, but are there better options?

  • I suppose it depends on the game. I've recently picked up PowerBeats VR and it's a clear match for boxing, but I play a lot of Synth Riders which is similar but a lot less punchy. Space Pirate Trainer is also similar but different again. I guess I have the same question really. I was also leaning toward generic cardio.

Space Pirate Trainer is similar again, yet different. I actually came here with the same question and I think I'm also leaning toward generic Cardio.

  • This is true :) In meantime I found https://vrhealth.institute/vr-ratings/ which lists games alongside of proposed exercise equivalent. I found this very helpful.
