Hello. It is my first day with the Venu 2 and I am already facing GPS issues. I did a 5k run around a lake with mediocre tree coverage but partially open-field. So both challenging but also easy for the GPS signal. Alongside the Venu 2 I've used the Coros Pace 3 in dual-frequency GPS mode.
Now, the GPS of the Venu 2 stopped working at some point in the open field and only re-connected after 1km causing the total distance to be just 3.81km instead of 5km. Is this a common problem with Garmin watches, or a random bug?
I've attached a screenshot of the data from both Watches.
It is the only time it happened during the run. Even in the denser forest, it proved to be just a bit less accurate than dual-frequency gps.
