Took my Venu 2 off charge (100%) at 20:00 last night and this morning at 07:00 it is already 84%.
What is draining the battery so much during the night when I'm asleep?

I have had similar, or even worse, experiences with Venu 2 and version 19.05.
Yesterday evening my Venu 2 had about 40–50 % battery left. At morning the charge was below 10 % and then in about 30 minutes…
What are u talking about? He wrote the problem with his WATCH (Garmin Venu2), not a PHONE.
Same problem with the Venu 3s.
They built the bug into all devices
Please Update the Software Using the Garmin Connect App, If that does not help the battery life, please contact Garmin Support in your region.
Same issue here. Reading around it seems to be a common problem lately with the Venu 2 and 2s. Hopefully Garmin fixes with an update and this isn't what Apple used to do when they killed old devices with updates that hurt their battery and performance
Same issue here, and my sister is having the same issue with hers as well (purchased at different times from different places). Already updated, tried resetting, and I'm having a lot of issues charging it and starting it back up after it dies, too, as it gets to one percent and then keeps prompting me to switch off battery saver, and then just dies again.
Basically as soon as it gets to battery saving mode, it dies. It took me about 3-4 days to get from 100% to 30%, with some activity, so pretty normal, and then 30 to 0 in just a few minutes. I've connected it to the computer, as I read that might help, but it didn't, I don't really know what else to do.
It's not on always on mode or any of that, and I haven't changed any settings either.
I have had my Venu 2 since June 2021. I am having a problem with the battery not holding a charge as long as it used to. It will go from 18% straight to ZERO, it will vibrate asking me if I want to enable the battery saver, I tap X then immediately begin charging it. The display does show 0% but it will eventually charge to 100% but it takes a LOT longer than it used to. What are my options? The closest Garmin Facility is 3 states away.
Herr the same. The Venu get out. No battery-save-mode or else. Garmin should think about an update if so many user have the problem. Of course out of guarantee.

Hi there.
After days f.cking with the settings I'm pretty sure now the reason of draining is bloototh pairing with the phone. A quick solution – just turn it off on your watch. You'll directly get your 7 days life battery back. :) I turn on my bloototh connectivity for 5 minutes just when I need all my watch data updated on the phone.
Thanks but this did not work for me unfortunately...
This issue has been present since Garmin released version 19.05 - a clear consequence of corporate cost-cutting by eliminating testers.
The Venu 2 battery drops to 0% immediately after falling below 50% SoC. Today, it went from 72% SoC straight to 0%.
This is absolutely unacceptable.
Garmin Support, are you aware that this critical bug in version 19.05 is alienating users from the Garmin ecosystem? Many of us are leaving and won’t return!
