Venu 2 doesn't work after last night's update

Hi,

I received an update to my Garmin Venu last night which stopped it measuring my HR etc and screen also only works intermittently.  What's happened?  I've rebooted my watch numerous times but still the same issue.

It was working completely fine until the update took place

  • I would say use the chat option under support to chat with an agent. (and others) does monitor this forum but generally specific issues get resolved quicker when you go to support rather than using this forum which is mostly end user driven.

  • Yeah . Mine’s also stopped working as for HRM after updating and resetting it to default settings . Garmin really says that the watch has an issue while most of the users have this issue because of their faulty software updates . They do absolutely nothing to solve the problem and they want you to buy a new one or to change it for a cost since you are not in warranty . Join the club

  • Waiting for a venu 2 i have bought second hand I'm wondering how wide spread this issue is.

    Since the watches update automatically surely more reports should have been in if it bricks all watches?

    For the record can anyone on the latest firmware that does not have this issue chime in?
