VENU 2 / Is there any upcoming update to solve crucial issues ?

Hi,

I am opening a second thread since my first never answered. As I can see in this forum, many Venu 2 users face problems with HRM. I had problems with the HRM to work ocassionaly. After hard reset, the HRM does not work at all. 

Is there any upcoming update to solve totally this problem ? I run the last one of November (17.04). What is going on with Garmin Support ? Since I am out of warranty, Garmin asks for 180 euro replacement . However , it is clear cut that this is an official issue for Venu 2 watches.

  • Thank you for your post! It looks like all troubleshooting steps have been reviewed with you due to the disruption that you have experienced. Since the troubleshooting did not alleviate this disruption, an exchange has to be set up. Because your watch is out of warranty, it would be replaced at an out-of-warranty cost. The cost of the exchange is determined by the country of your residence.

    Another watch abanded instead of fixing problems, some of which they created with their updates.

  • So, I have to pay for an already purchased product because of your faulty hardware or software. This sounds fair and logic.

    However, you did not answer, if there is any upcoming update.

  • It seems update 18.02 is being prepared, but I do not expect major updates. Garmin wants you to buy new models.
