Garmin Venu 2plus light sensor area burns

Hi, I have had a terrible time with my Venu 2 plus burning my wrist right where the light sensor is located. I keep the watch clean and dry , I've followed all their advice, I wore a different Garmin previously for two years without this issue. I have burns on both wrists (from having to switch due to the pain and burn). Now Garmin Customer service are not helping me at all. Has anyone had anything similar with the Venu 2 Plus? I used to love Garmin as I'm a runner, but it may be time to switch.

  • If you've already followed the suggestions as Garmin mentioned below, I'd reach out again to Garmin Product Support. Not sure why they are not helping. What was your method for contacting them? Phone or chat will be your best options for a more immediate response.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you are reporting. The skin irritation may be a result of build-up on the watch band and/or casing. You should discontinue wearing your watch until your skin has healed. Please review the following FAQ that provides important information regarding the wear and care of your Garmin watch: https://www.garmin.com/watch-fit-and-care/
